Z-Man's Quest

Ping the Team

Every message to Z-Man's Quest lands in one shared inbox at reach@zmansquest.com, read by all four writers. The form on this page is a shortcut to the same address: it opens the email program on your device with a message ready to check and send. The page never transmits or keeps a copy of what you type.

Notes that help the desk most

  • Something in an article no longer matches reality. Menus move, prices change and features get renamed. Tell us the page, the sentence and what you see instead.
  • A question that deserves its own article. Several pieces, including Standalone vs PC VR, grew out of readers asking the same thing in different words.
  • A broken link or a page that will not load. The address and your browser are usually all we need.
  • A gap in a topic. If an archive such as PC Games or Kitchen lacks something obvious, describe what you were looking for.

Help us help you

For technical questions, mention the device or software involved, the version if you know it and the exact wording of any error message. A short description of what you already tried saves a round of back-and-forth. Screenshots are welcome as attachments.

Corrections are welcome

Nobody enjoys finding a mistake in their own work, but we would much rather hear about it than leave it in place. If you are not sure whether something is wrong, write anyway; a short note saying a step confused you is useful too, because confusion is often a sign that the explanation needs another pass.

Who replies and when

Questions about television and streaming go to Zinovia, games, headsets and computers to Fintan, gadgets, kitchen appliances and cars to Wendelin, and AI tools, search and world topics to Bartolo. Because we write in our spare hours, an answer usually takes a few days. Error reports are dealt with first.

What we cannot do

We have no access to your accounts with broadband companies, streaming services, app stores or car dealers, so we cannot reset passwords, cancel plans or chase refunds. We also do not repair devices or offer remote support. The company behind the product is the right contact for those requests.

Before writing, you might find your answer in Tech Terms Without Jargon, or learn how we handle corrections on Our Review Workflow. How we treat the details in your email is explained on Privacy on the Quest.

This opens your email app with the message ready to send to reach@zmansquest.com. Nothing is stored on this site.

Before you hit send

A few details go a long way

Tell us the device, the software version and the exact wording of any error. With that, we can usually reproduce the problem or point to the part of an article that needs another look.

We read every message, but we write in our spare hours, so replies can take a few days. Reports of mistakes in an article go to the top of the pile.

Quick answers about the inbox

What readers usually want to know before getting in touch.

Can you fix my TV, PC or streaming account?

We have no access to anyone's devices or accounts. The maker or service provider is the right contact for repairs, billing and logins.

Can I suggest a topic?

Please do. Describe what you were trying to do and where you got stuck; that tends to become the outline.

How quickly will someone reply?

Usually within a few days, sooner for corrections.

Does the form send my message from the site?

No. It opens your own email program with the text filled in, and you choose whether to send it.
